Montjean-sur-Loire was in 1850 the largest port of the Loire. The marine and Loire culture is therefore very present in this town located between Angers and Nantes.

To valorize this heritage, CAP LOIRE proposes the discovery of the Loire and boats that have sailed through an interactive exhibition. Also, the visit on land of the boat Cape Verde allows the visitors to put themselves in the skin of the sailors and to become aware of the difficulties of the life on board. Last but not least, 11,000m² of themed gardens provide places for walks and relaxation around local and foreign vegetation.
