NEW for 2024 : from July 13 to August 15, the Château de la Lorie in Anjou Bleu shines brightly !

Take advantage of a guided tour of the castle (1 hour) to learn the history of this place. This emblematic site, nicknamed the “little Versailles of Anjou” with its large Anjou marble salon, refers to the War and Peace salons of the Palace of Versailles. Formerly a large private stud farm supplying the Royal House, it is today thanks to its racecourse installed at the foot of the castle terraces that it still shines and fascinates thousands of racegoers during each meeting.

Then a seated dinner accompanied by a live music group (starter-main course-dessert, coffee and water) is served to you in the castle’s riding hall.

Finally the day ends with a monumental light projection (20 min) on the facade of the castle created by the artist Xavier de Richemont. The custom-made monumental work highlights the historical richness and architectural beauty of the Château de la Lorie et de l'Anjou.
