Musée d'Art et d'Histoire Louis-Senlecq
Le musée d'Art et d'Histoire Louis Senlecq has been installed since 1950 in the House of the Josephites, built around 1660 by Prince Armand of Bourbon Conti, lord of L'Isle-Adam. Animated by a dynamic team of employees and volunteers, the museum has an exciting collection of works related to the prestigious past of the city: paintings of the School of the banks of the Oise around Jules Dupré, Italian drawings of Jules Romain Joyant and nearly 200 figurines illustrating the many aspects of the production of terra cotta of L'Isle-Adam from the end of the XIXth century to the fifties.
In 2006, the museum deployed its temporary exhibitions activities in its annexe dedicated to modern and contemporary art: the Jacques Henri Lartigue art center.
