Domaine Souviou
Le Domaine de Souviou covers 75 hectares, most of which are devoted to olive trees and vines, as in ancient times. It has 32 hectares of vineyard producing very fine wines and 6000 olive trees were replanted in addition to 500 older trees, some of which are centuries or even millennia. They produce a rare olive oil.
Today Souviou is also a beautiful Provencal country house, with its adjacent chapel which was the resting place of the Benedictine monk, Dom Joseph Bland. A beautiful covered lavender path leads to it. The basement, meanwhile, is built to blend into the landscape while welcoming the best of traditional and modern winemaking equipment, with a cozy tasting room.
