Since 1993, Antton Chocolatier has perpetuated the chocolate tradition of the Basque Country. Based at the entrance of the charming village of Espelette, the Artisan Chocolatier, through its creations, transmits the flavors of the Basque terroir.

All gourmands and curious people are invited to visit the Espelette workshop free of charge and share the passion of chocolate through the Chocolatiers demonstration.

The visit: In a first room, the guide tells the history of chocolate, as well as the major stages of production, from picking the cocoa bean to the chocolate you enjoy. The visitors are then taken to the workshop, where they discover the chocolatiers in the exercise of their art. The end of the tour concludes with a tasting of our best specialties.
