Jura the unexpected !
The Jura is a French department whose name comes from the mountain massif of the Jura. It is one of the four departments of the Franche-Comté region. The Jura plain borders Burgundy to the west, and to the east the mountains separate the Jura from Switzerland. From West to East, the route is made by a progression in steps of altitude in the manner of a staircase. Each market corresponds to a different country with its own identity and culture.
If the Jura is a palette of landscapes, it is also an abundance of tourist activities. You will get to know it better, through its great sites, but also, for the most curious, by looking for its many hidden treasures, whether natural, heritage, or cultural. Let yourself be transported and you will see, the magic always operates !
