Héria, Hérisson animal park, was first created to preserve a fragile natural environment of peat bogs, namely the low valley of the Val Dessous, by establishing grazing by large primitive herbivores such as Aurochs, Highland Cattle and Tarpan in close collaboration with the Regional Conservatory of Natural Areas of Franche Comté.
