Since the 19th century, Conflans-Sainte-Honorine has been the main crossroads of the waterways of the North of France, at the confluence of the Seine and the Oise. The museum has existed for about fifty years. Renovated in 2015, it is installed in the Château du Prieuré. It welcomes visitors and researchers for a discovery of the world of the waterway.
