Le Pays de Lunel en Petite Camargue

In a triangle Montpellier, Arles and Nîmes, the Pays de Lunel bounded by vineyards, garrigue and the Petite Camargue. Wandering through the narrow streets of the historic heart of Lunel you will discover a flourishing past, with a diapora of jewish intellectuals of the 12th century, philosophers, translators or doctors.

The Medard Museum invites up to discover ancient works and the museum of the Prison Tower will unmask for you the mysteries of its medieval dungeons under the torchlight. There are also the Gallo-Roman site of Ambrussum, on the Domitian Via and its museum, the Roman Bridge, an oppidum, its paved road ant its ramparts waiting for you. The Arboretum paves the way to Mediterranean berry trees for the novices and the true botanists. Once you have accomplished a visit to the Viavino oenotourisme center, the wine's world will have no secrets from you.
