Parc National du Mercantour
The Mercantour National Park, mountainous area par excellence, with its peaks at more than 3 000 m altitude is a natural world that opens up to you.
68,500 ha distributed between the Alpes-Maritimes and the Alpes de Haute-Provence including the Hautes-Vallées of Ubaye and Verdon, a territory almost uninhabited by man.
2,000 species of plants, hundreds of animal species and grandiose landscapes such as that of Lake Allos, the largest lake in Europe.
Alone, or with the companions of the Mercantour National Park, discover delicate flowers: the cologne of the Alps or the hoof of Venus, observe the agility of the chamois on the rocky slopes or look for the marmot that stands guard.
