Le Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle
At the crossroads of life, earth and human sciences, the National Museum of Natural History has devoted itself for three centuries to biological, geological and cultural diversity, and to the relationships between human societies and nature.
The Museum manages 13 sites throughout France: galleries, gardens and zoos.
The Jardin des Plantes (Paris 5th) serves cultural sites devoted to nature and promoting the museum's heritage collections: Grande Galerie de l'Évolution, Galerie de Paléontologie et d'Anatomie comparée, Galerie de Minéralogie, Grandes Serres and Ménagerie.
Also in Paris, the Museum offers a visit to the Musée de l'Homme (Paris 16) and the Paris Zoological Park (Paris 12).
