Musée Yves Brayer

Tourisme Musée Yves Brayer

The Museum resides in one of the most beautiful residences in the village : the Hotel de Porcelet, built at the end of the 16th century.

The Museum contains some one hundred works by this artist, one of the most important of contemporary figuration. Yves Brayer (1907-1990), a Mediterranean painter par excellence, devotes most of his work to Spain, Italy, then to the Camargue and Provence. Attaching great importance to graphic design, he brought back from his travels to Mexico, Greece, Japan and the Middle East many drawings and watercolors.

In its eleven rooms, the Museum gathers an important collection of oils, gouaches, watercolors and drawings that allows to discover little known aspects of his work.
