Musée de la Résistance
The Bondues Museum of Resistance is housed in a former fort built at the end of the 19th century to protect Lille from a possible German invasion. These sites were the theater of the two German occupations, and served as a place of execution for 68 resistance fighters in the region between 1943 and 1944. As a tribute to their commitment, the Museum allows them to follow their journey, discover their motivations and Of the Resistance in the Nord-Pas de Calais.
The Museum also includes a research center. It regularly organizes temporary exhibitions, symposia, and historical events. Thanks to the team of teachers at the origin of the Museum, the Museum is strongly committed to educational action and welcomes each year the schools participating in the National Competition of the Resistance.
