Open to the public in 2007 at the Palais de la Porte Dorée in Paris, the National City of Immigration History, now designated as the "Musée national de l'histoire de l'immigration", is a cultural institution Pluridisciplinary: museum, theater, cinema, place of reflection and debate.

Le Musée national de l'histoire de l'immigration is responsible for building, preserving and presenting to the public a collection representative of the history, arts and cultures of immigration. This collection takes a fresh look at the history of France, showing the contribution of immigrants to the economic development, social developments and cultural life of the country.
