Musée du Fromage

Musée du Fromage

Chaource, Champagne village of the Aube, gave its name to a cheese of appellation. This cheese now has its museum, unique in Champagne Ardenne. Fruit of a collector's passion, it was created to pay tribute to the Chaource, of course, but also to feed the history of the many cheeses of the Aube and cheese crafts.

The exhibition is a real journey from the 18th to the 20th centuries, where one discovers breast pumps, drainers, funnels, agitators, churns, skimmers, copper pots, ladles, bowls, molds, presses, curd combs, Emmenthal ...

The hundreds of objects presented originate from all regions of France but especially from the Aube and the Pyrenees. A visit that gives you all the secrets of the Chaource and which ends with a tasting !
