The Museum of Crystal Bayel allows to discover the history of Glass and Crystal from antiquity to the present day.

Designed as an ecomuseum, it was the inhabitants of Bayel who gave it its soul. Models made by glassmakers of the Crystalwork show that the tools and techniques remained as in the time of the Encyclopedia. Many masterpieces are presented in a true "treasure" of the great period of decorative arts. A 15-minute video film, shot in the Cristallerie's workshops, illustrates all the manufacturing steps: mouth blowing, hand-cutting, sand-engraving, satin-coating, gilding, enamelling ...
