The MAISON DU MARAIS POITEVIN hosts temporary and permanent exhibitions, including a projection which, accompanied by an animated model, recounts all the major stages in the creation of the Marais poitevin and thus illustrates its main development phases and the importance of its ecosystems.

The tour rooms illustrate various aspects of the maraîchine's life from the 19th century to the present day :

• the boat industry and the construction of traditional boats
• eel fishing (an emblematic hope of the Marais Poitevin)
• the interior of a maraîchine house
• the projection of the Maraiscope

Temporary exhibitions ( in collaboration with the Marais Poitevin Regional Nature Park) are organised to shed light on other aspects of the Marais Poitevin.
