For millennia man cultivates linen for his fiber and his seeds. Today, Normandy produces 80% of French flax and France is ranked first in the world in terms of fiber quality.

La Maison du Lin en Normandie is a museum that opened its doors in Routot in 1992 and continues to this day to welcome you to present the different transformations of linen going from its history to its uses through its culture, yesterday And today.

The guided tour lasts about 1h30 and we propose formulas of visits to the day with the cooperative of linen of Routot and the other two sites of the association Terres Vivantes.

Permanent exhibition, temporary exhibition and shop.
