"inVINcible VIGNEron" le vin et la vigne d'hier...
Admire a major historical site dedicated to the work of winegrowers from the 17th century to 1950. Housed in a building of character, in the heart of the thousand-year-old Gaillac vineyard, the inVINcible VIGNEron displays the most extensive European collection on vines, wine and winegrowers know-how on over 1400m².
Why is this wine conservatory museum called "inVINcible VIGNEron" ? To honour the winegrowers who have been able to evolve in order to improve the quality of the wine without sparing their efforts. They always had to respond to the various plagues that have affected the vine and the 10,000 artifacts displayed to the public in this former wine-growing estate prove that they took care of the vine with great ingenuity.
Next to the inVINcible VIGNEron, there is another museum : "Au passé Retrouvé" that shows the life and professions of France in 1900.
