Fermes du Moyen-Age de Xaintrie

Les fermes du moyen age

Unique in France, they have been building a medieval village for more than 10 years. Already more than 170,000 visitors.

The Middle Ages of one of the most beautiful regions of France, the most outstanding of the living museums, the creation of a single man.

More than an ecomuseum, this village inhabited by the year is a living memory. Located on 12 ha in an exceptional environment as far as the eye can see on the volcanoes of Auvergne, you will discover a whole hamlet, farms, mill, church ... its gardens, its animals.

At the moment when the company is experiencing the deepest mutation in its history, the farms of the Middle Ages offer you a journey back in time. This site is a great ecology lesson. You will learn how the man of the Middle Ages lived by adapting to his environment without distorting it.
