Château de Turenne

Located at the top of one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France, the Castle of TURENNE welcomes you all year round for a visit with family or friends.

Bearing the name of a powerful viscount who ruled Limousin, Périgord and Quercy, TURENNE has retained many traces of its history.

The César tower, a cylindrical tower of the thirteenth century, symbolized the allegiance of the viscount to the Crown. It reaches its summit by a spiral staircase, equipped with a welcome ramp, to benefit from a very wide and amazing panorama.

Depending on your time and your desires, go for a free visit and wander around at your own pace, or prefer a guided group tour by appointment.
