Château du Riau

Located in the heart of Sologne Bourbonnaise, in the north of the department of Allier, 12 kilometers from Moulins by the N ° 7, surrounded by a large landscaped park, the Riau castle is gently discovered after a Alley of linden trees to the sleeping bridge.

From the start, the visitor is seduced by the harmony of its proportions underlined by a medieval garden bringing a charm and an additional softness to the place. We are happy to welcome you for a visit or a stay.

The guided tour includes :

The Tithes Barn and the Chapel
The castle : living room, dining room & furnished rooms
Exhibition of post-impressionist paintings by Emmanuel de la Villéon and many family memories
Permanent exhibition of miniature furniture and dolls of the 19th century

Timetables

From Saturday 1 July to Thursday 27 July inclusive, and from Friday 1 September to Saturday 30 September 2017 inclusive. (The castle is closed to the public from Friday 28 July to Thursday 31 August).
Guided tour every day (except Saturday) from 14:30 to 18:30.
The castle is closed to the public on Sunday, September 10, 2017.

Heritage Days Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th September 2017 from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm (guided tours depart every hour).
