Le Château du Pailly is one of the most prestigious masterpieces of the Renaissance in Champagne-Ardenne.

It was built between 1563 and 1573 for Gaspard de Saulx-Tavannes, who was a comrade- in- arms of François 1st. It is located on a feudal fortress, so it maintained the keep and 3 corner towers. The decoration of the courtyard reflects the architectural principles of the classical renaissance. The interior of the castle has wide rooms with monumental chimneys.
