At 45mn south of Caen and the landing beaches, Falaise Castle is a major example of medieval architecture of the 12th and 13th centuries.

Completely restored, the castle William the Conqueror of Falaise dominates the city with its 3 dungeons and its rampart flanked by 15 towers. Discover the stronghold built by the first Dukes of Normandy, reinforced by the descendants of William the Conqueror and completed by the King of France.

Film projections, staging, visualization and manipulation of 3D objects on tablets, furniture replica installations reveal the reality of the Ducal and Royal Castle of the 12th and 13th centuries. In a park, a film and stereoscopic binoculars make you relive the life of the castle as if you were there !

Timetables

The castle is open daily from 10am to 7pm without interruption. Last tickets sold at 18h.
As the park of touchpad is reduced, we invite you to privilege the schedule 10h and 13h for a better comfort of visit.
