CHATEAU DE FONTAINE FRANCAISE
Built in the reign of Louis XV on the ruins of an ancient fortress which welcomed Henry IV on the evening of his victory over the spagols and armies of the League, the Château de Fontaine Française embodies the classic perfection of the 18th century.
From the French-style garden to the main building with period furniture and decorations, it offers a remarkable unity of style.
In her salons and dresses the memory of her chatelaines floats, the Princess of Monaco and Madame de Saint Julien, who held a brilliant literary salon frequented by Voltaire and Madame de Stael.

In July and August the castle and the park are open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6pm.
