Château de Bellegarde

14th century castle deeply transformed on plans of Leo Drouyn at the beginning of the XXth century with a park designed by Gabriel Perdoux.

Overlooking the village of Lamonzie-Montastruc at the confluence of the Louyre and the Caudeau, its history is closely linked to the castle of Montastruc which faces north of the village. In the same family since the middle of the XIXth century, the castle of Bellegarde presents very beautiful reception rooms accessible to the visit, library, dining room, ... fully furnished and decorated with several Aubusson tapestries.

The visit of the park allows to appreciate the architecture of Bellegarde in all its components and to enjoy the panoramic view on the valley of Caudeau.
