Les Caves Charlemagne

Caves charlemagne

Discover the 6000 m² of the Charlemagne cellars in the heart of Angoulême to acquire the secrets of the elaboration of sparkling wines according to the authentic traditional method.

In 1921, Lucien Charlemagne, oenologist of Reims, created "Les Caves Charlemagne" in Angoulême, drawing from the ancestral vines of the Cognac region.

The diversity of the grape varieties selected in our Chardonnay, Pinot Noir ... cuvées gives each of them a unique and inimitable character that delights lovers of great sparkling wines. You will also be able to discover the range of wines from Charentais Mainart which includes a complete palette of varietal wines reflecting all the diversity and quality of the vineyard operated by the Maison des Maines.
