The Cathedral Saint-Etienne of Bourges is certainly one of the most beautiful cathedrals of France, if not of the world ! Majestic and remarkable, it has been inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List since 1992. An award worthy of this building, which welcomes more than 600,000 visitors every year.
Built in 1195, the cathedral of Bourges is often considered one of the edifices precursor of the Gothic architecture. It is nearly 120m long, and seems to be made only of one block because one notices immediately the absence of transept.
