Chez les Boisselliers
The village of Bois D'Amont lined with forests of spruce is crossed by the Orbe river. Here people have been working wood since the 16th century. It is quite natural that the museum welcomes you in an old hydraulic sawmill completely renovated. It is the volunteers of the association "Les gardiens de la Boissellerie" who wanted to perpetuate and transmit this heritage. The guided tour takes you to discover the many know-how of the people of the village. It is a living museum of more than 1600 square meters which comes alive before your eyes during demonstrations on machines in perfect working condition. At the end of the visit you will discover that our small village is also a great capital. See you soon in the boissellerie country.
