The Centre Pompidou-Metz pays tribute to the artist François Morellet and celebrates his centenary with a grand exhibition bringing together one hundred of his works spanning more than seventy years of creation ! A painter of rules and disorder, Morellet embodies the tension between geometric rigor and the exuberance of chance. This exhibition reveals a free, ironic spirit, oscillating between mathematical order and optical absurdity in a journey vibrant with rigor and humor.
