Musée Jules Verne
At the place where “Jules Verne had to very often come to contemplate this height the river, where it became the door of wide and the adventure way” (Julien Gracq, La Forme d'une ville), Nantes city decided to devote a museum to the writer in order to restore the wealth of its collections verniennes to the public. Then the building was renovated in 2005 by Claire Bernard de Courville in link with Agnès Marcetteau, the museum director.
Books, manuscripts, documents, works extracts and illustrations, posters, games and objects, videos and installation invite to a “trip in the center of the vernienne writing”. It is the starting point and of arrival of many long journeys”, located at equal distance of Los Angeles and Vladivostok.

only for individuals : 14:00 at 18:00
Saturday : 10:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 18:00
